A life arranged in a prismatic way,
No blur, no distractions
Of which I relished and adored greatly
Though some 'ould overburden us
With unrealistic expectations
Yet in all, I had a friend who was more human,
Than his creatures.
I was eager to meet him, tonight
The glorious one that visited me as often
He was my friend, the son of the Almighty
During my meditations, the spirit of the Most High
Had shown him to me, the one I had longed to meet.
At peace in my dreams, i connected with the light
Exhilarated I screamed,
"Jesus, he's more handsome than I thought"
"Jesus, he's more handsome than I thought"
'Tell me is he going to wake me with a kiss and breakfast spoon?'
My Heavenly friend smiled, ' He'll love you harder than the showers of June'.
'You do want a lasting memory of him I suppose'
'Yes something I could soak in all day', I responded.
'Will he overlook my flaws, I'm strong willed?'
'He is fashioned after you, you both will flow into each other'.
'Let me feel the touch of his being'
'I want to hold his hand, at least for now'
'It seems we've known each other forever,
I miss him already'.
I met him and I held his hands
A moment engraved in the circle of true love.
All day I dreamt and relived that moment.
Eagerly waiting for the physical meeting,
God had promised me about the 'ONE'.
