It was about this time last year,
Swept you off the ground,
and left you at the mercy of the whirlwind.
Then In a sensational move that
Brought you across my path,
You settled, giving me that inviting smile
I knew you did that for a reason.
True to your erratic, unstable self
I was oblivious of,
You coughed up every mildew of lie
Etched in your soul,
Professing love like it never happened
Soon you taught me a lesson I will never forget.
Like the Prince Charming of the ball,
You asked to marry me,
I was elated
Yet something told me it was hoax
My soul felt it.
The happy ending that died at it's birth.
You raped my hopes then,
And left your anxiety soaked thorn
Right at the middle of my energy, I dissipated
My blanket burned from the tears
That were overwhelmed
with the fire of troubling thoughts
But I forgive you for that!.
Just letting you know
December struck twice,
And in it's usual fashion
Swept me to another man's path
He loves too much, ungrateful me!
Now we're threading our destinies
Love never felt so light, so easy.
Like the past n'er happened
Our hues Intertwined, and we weaved our paths.
Like we were born to do this,
The most beautiful pastel of love
He loves me to the core of his bones
I can't get him off my mind, too.
