Professor Kamil Omoteso who started his academic career in 2001 at Lagos State University will take over the role of Pro Vice- Chancellor Dean for the college of Business, Law and Social sciences at the University of Derby, United Kingdom.....
In reaction to the confirmation of hos new role, the professor said "he was excited to join a team of visionary people who are commited to a set of core values that resonate with my personal philosophies".
"It is a rare priviledge to take on this role and I'm determined to make a difference to our student learning experience and employability, as well creating a conducive environment for our staff to thrive," he added.
University of Derby vice-chancellor, Professor Kathryn Mitchell, said Omoteso will bring "extensive experience of higher education" and thay he is well positioned to help actualise the school's ambition to grow and diversify the business school, and the School of Law and Social sciences.
