His remains was said to have been moved to a morgue in the GRA in Ikeja, Lagos State.
The father, 38 year old.Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known by his stage name D’banj or Kokomaster, a musician, singer-songwriter, entrepreneur and television personality was far away in the United States of America for the BET Awards, which held on Sunday night when the tragic incident occured.
D’banj, who posted a dark image on Instagram page, wrote: “Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.”
Since the incident happened condolences have continued pouring in from celebrities as well as politicians over the loss of his son;
Toyin Saraki, wife of Nigeria’s Senate President also joined in the outpouring of sympathy: “Heartbreaking. May Almighty God be with @iambangalee Dbanj and his wife at this tragic time and always. May their beautiful little one rest in peace. Amen.”
Davido who bagged BETaward Best International Artist paid his condolence in his acceptance speech.
