Court remands man over alleged attempted rape of Pregnant woman...

Emmanuel Ademakinwa 29, was accused if attempt rape of a 21 year old pregnant woman on june 7 after the prosecutor, Insp.Ona Glory told the court that the accused commited the crime at 1:00a.m, modakeke, Ife north east local government area of osun.......

Glory further explained that the accused indecently assaulted the pregnant woman by lying on her with intent to have carnal knowledge of her against her knowledge, after stealing the 45,000 naira she kwpt in her purse inside her room. The accused pleaded guilty to the charge of assault but denies stealing from the pregnant woman. The court magistrate Famuyide, at the magistrate court sitting in modakeke ile-ife refused the accused bail, ordering that he be remanded in prison. Famuyide adjourned the case till june 28 for hearing!
